Driving Engagement for Origin Customers through Everyday Rewards

At the start of 2024, my team at WooliesX was tasked with designing marketing campaigns to boost customer retention and value for Origin customers through Everyday Rewards channels. We needed visually engaging solutions to simplify detailed offers while enhancing the customer experience.

The Challenge
As a digital designer, my role was to translate complex offers into clear, digestible visuals across multiple channels, including email, web, app, and paid media. Collaborating closely with our copywriter, I focused on refining the messaging and creating intuitive designs that encouraged user interaction and understanding.

The design process involved rigorous testing and iteration to create visuals that communicated the offers clearly while adhering to brand guidelines. We leveraged vibrant colors and relatable imagery to foster a welcoming and engaging experience for users.

The Solution
The final design introduced a straightforward, step-by-step visual guide for each offer, enhanced with iconography and clear punctuation. This approach reduced cognitive load, creating user-friendly infographics that made complex tasks—like offer activation—intuitive and seamless.

The new design construct achieved an 83% retention rate within the first six months among users receiving the offer, a significant improvement.

This project not only enhanced the user experience but also established a fresh, effective framework for presenting offers that aligned with stakeholder expectations and set a standard for future campaigns.
